St. Patrick's Church
Sydney, N.S.W. • Australia
St Patrick's Church in Sydney was opened on St. Patrick's Day in 1844. Since that time, the church has amassed many fine treasures, among which, finished in 2004, is their two-manual Ruffatti organ.
The organ was dedicated on February 9, 2004, by Sergio de Pieri, to a packed house and rave reviews.
The 58-note keyboards, covered with bone and Nigerian ebony, have self-balancing mechanical action, which reduces the need for periodic maintenance and adjustment.
