Re-produced and re-designed, "Tribute" is a fresh new package of a 1969 recording, engineered by Fratelli Ruffatti and Richard Torrence in appreciation of Ted's more-than-33-year collaboration with Ruffatti. Recorded under the title "The Sound of Ruffatti" on the two-manual 23-rank Ruffatti at our Lady of Grace Church in Johnston, Rhode Island, it was Ted's first testament on record to the organ company he loved so well. A triumph for all Ted Alan Worth fans and well worth hearing for those of us that didn't have the pleasure of knowing him, it is a wonderful showcase for both artist and instrument. Music by Albinoni, Marcello, Shaw, Schumann, and others.

Trumpeter Fabiano Maniero and organist Silvio Celeghin have teamed up to produce a tasty album of music written for trumpet and organ. Maniero's sonorous tone and rich musicality are aptly balanced with the stylish playing of Celeghin. Both are highly accomplished in the musical world, and it's a treat to hear these two talented musicians together. The album was recorded at Ss. Felice e Fortunato in Noale, where Celeghin plays a mechanical action instrument built between 1969 and 1971 by Fratelli Ruffatti. Music by Marcello, Vivaldi, dalla Vecchia, and others.   Dancing Pipes is a lovely smörgåsbord of music written by composers from Sweden, England, Germany, Austria, and Italy, and charmingly played by Mary Chard Petersson on the three-manual twin-console Ruffatti organ (2009) at the Church of Älmhult in Älmhult, Sweden.  Ms. Petersson is a frequent recitalist who studied at the Music Academy in Vienna and holds a Fellowship from Trinity College of London.  Several pieces on the album were written by her husband, Swedish composer Per Gunnar Petersson. Of those, the title track is dedicated to her.  The final three tracks, Tre canti sacri by Per Gunnar Petersson, were inspired by the Ruffatti organ.  They feature the treble section of Älmhult's Oratorio Choir under the direction of the composer, accompanied by Mary Chard Petersson. Music by J. S. Bach, Yon, Brahms, Petersson, Lindberg, Rawsthorne, and Heiller. nosag records, distributed by Naxos Sweden.  nosag CD 199
Hector Olivera Performs Masterpieces for Organ - This is Hector Olivera’s second recording on the three-manual 47-rank Ruffatti organ in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (2003) in Kansas City, Missouri (see The Artistry of the Pipe Organ below). The disc covers a wide musical experience, from Henry Purcell through Franz Liszt to Hans Friedrich Micheelsen. An added bonus is the stage tango Oblivion, by Argentine tango composer and bandoneon player Astor Piazzolla, whose compositions revolutionized this dance form into a new style incorporating both jazz and classical elements, the nuevo tango. On this CD, as always, Maestro Olivera shows himself to be a sophisticated tone painter whose artistry creates aural murals that are satisfying to both the ear and the psyche. Music by Micheelsen, Bossi, Purcell, Daquin, Franck, Lidon, Vierne, Liszt, and Piazzolla. M.P.I. CD 119.
